Magazine conventions 2

Magazine Conventions 2

The Masthead of this magazine makes it evident that this is a Magazine for a private school of some sort this is evident through the type of font that the editor as incoorpareted the masthead into, a font like ths font could only be described as "fancy". The schools high status is once agasinst highlighted in the masthead, theis is due to the text "Independant Schools" being written in bold this was possibliy done to boost the schools status as an "independant school" which futhermore establishes the high status of the school  with the readers.
Besides the magazine issues distribution date written in the upper right there are plenty more indication presented in the magazine cover to indicate that is is ofcourse an Autum issue. The indicators includes the image of the trees with the orange and brown leaves falling to the ground, this image is normally if not always directly linked with the Autum season. More indications incule the attire worn by tghe cover stars, this incluides the jackets, and scarfs, one final indication of the season would be the overall colour scheme of the magazine; although whte is the only colour used for the Masthead and etc, the colour scheme of the mise en ense sure does point to the season being Autum, for example some of the rcognised colours on the cover are browns and oranges, which are colours which are always associated with the season of Autum.
The image of leaves falling to the grown could conote the end of Sumer the joyful season and the begining of Autum and a new school year.
